Versions A and B differ only in the column setup on the backside of the card to accommodate different printers. Download both versions and print a double-sided page to determine which one works best with your printer.
DIY Chessboard Flashcards
Follow these simple steps to make your own set of chessboard flashcards:
- Download the PDFs: Get both Version A and Version B, each designed for different printer setups.
- Print a Test Sheet: Print one double-sided sheet (the first two pages from the file—10 cards) from both versions. Check which version correctly aligns the squares and names, depending on how your printer handles double-sided printing.
- Use Thicker Paper: For better durability, print on thicker paper to prevent the text or images from showing through.
- Print Double-Sided: Once you’ve determined the correct version for your printer, print the full set of flashcards double-sided.
- Cut Out the Flashcards: Carefully cut along the lines to create your set.
- Start Practicing!: Enjoy your learning process and improve your chessboard visualization.
